Bookings
All tours require advance booking. Bookings are confirmed by email once payment or invoice arrangements are finalised.
Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of booking unless other arrangements have been agreed in writing.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations more than 7 days before the tour receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days receive a 50% refund or full credit. No refunds within 24 hours of a tour, except in exceptional circumstances.
Wet Weather
Tours generally proceed in light rain. In severe weather we reschedule and notify you the morning of your tour. Rescheduled tours receive a full credit.
Safety & Conduct
We operate on public property only. We follow all relevant safety regulations. Participants are expected to follow guide instructions at all times.
Photography
Personal photography is welcome. We may take photographs of tours for promotional purposes — please let us know on the day if you'd prefer not to be photographed.
Liability
Sydney History Tours holds appropriate public liability insurance. Participation is at your own risk. We recommend appropriate footwear, weather protection, and water.
Donations
10% of pre-tax profits are directed to the restoration and preservation of historic sites visited on our tours.
